FAQs

Can I bring prams or wheelchairs?

Standard strollers, prams and standard wheelchairs may be used at walking pace, however it is the participant’s responsibility to determine the suitability of the course, including areas of uneven ground, grass areas (which may be soft, especially after rain) and gravel.

Can I bring a bike, scooter or other wheeled device?

Excepting strollers and wheelchairs, all other wheeled vehicles are banned from the event for safety reasons.

Can I bring dogs?

Due to their unpredictable nature with people and situations, we ask you leave your dogs at home for the physical event.

Category choice – what if I want to mainly walk but possibly run?

Walkers must walk 100% of the time.  This means you must:

1.      Ensure one foot is in contact with the ground at all times

2.      Front left must be straight up at all times from first contact with the ground until in vertical upright position (as it passes under body) – straight knee rule

3.      Be honest! This will ensure the integrity of the event is maintained.

For those who may run or walk between events, or within events – choose the run option.  If you change your mind during the series, please contact us.
